How do I apply with Hatch?

Thank you for your interest in joining the Hatch team. In order to apply, submit your resume to us or you can search our current open jobs here. If you do not receive a call within 48 hours of applying for a job with Hatch, contact frontdesk@hatchstaff.com. A recruiter will contact you with 24 hours of receipt of this email.

How long does it take to find a job?

The time it takes to find a new position varies based on your background and flexibility. We have found people new jobs in as little as 24 hours but the average time to find a new position is just under two weeks.

Does Hatch provide benefits?

Hatch offers a myriad of different benefits to temporary employees including: earned holiday pay, vacation pay, health benefits as well as recognition and rewards. All benefits are based on hours worked and will be reviewed with you during the on-boarding process.

What is the process to get hired/placed?

All associates start the process with Hatch by completing a phone screen. If they meet are initial criteria, they are extended an invite to interview in-person at our office. Once we complete the interview, we exchange expectations and assess if both parties would like to work together. Should we decide to move forward in the process, at that time appropriate paperwork and skills testing is completed. Your initial interview with Hatch including paperwork takes about 45 minutes.

How often does Hatch pay temporary associates?

Hatch pays their temporary associates every Friday. We offer either direct deposit or a paycard. Temporary associates are required to complete a timecard weekly, sign and have their direct supervisor sign. They can email this timecard to Hatch or fax it to us at 414-272-7901. Timecards are due on Monday at noon. Hatch payroll is from Sunday – Saturday each week.

What kinds of tutorials or training does Hatch provide?

Hatch has over 150 different testing options available to test your skills in different areas. We offer tutorials on a number of different software systems and you can test an unlimited number of times as you work to improve your skills. Often our clients require the following tests be administered pre-employment: math, mechanical aptitude, typing, data entry and MS Office Suite.

If I need an employment verification, how do I obtain one?

Send an email request to our Payroll Associate, Rose Vang at rose@hatchstaff.com. Rose will turn your request around within 48 hours.

If I need a copy of my paystubs, how do I retrieve those?

All of our associates have on-line access to the paystubs. You can login in the employee portal by clicking here. You must know your username and password. If you need assistance with this information, please contact us at 414-272-4544.

Does Hatch only offer temporary work?

Hatch is a full-service recruitment firm offering temporary, temporary to hire and direct hire employment options to job seekers.
